Imran Khan admits to having incomplete money trail of London flat

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman has on Saturday submitted written statement in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan regarding his London flat, and admitted that he does not have complete money trail.

The declaration was submitted by PTI chief’s counsel Naeem Bukhari in the apex court in which it has been stated that county cricket does not keep the record which is more than 20 years old, therefore, the evidence of playing county cricket and income earned through it is not available. There is no record of the schedule of Imran’s job either, the document stated.

Furthermore, it is said that Imran Khan played county cricket for Worcestershire and Sussex from 1971 to 1988. It has also been told that the amount of 61 thousand pounds was given initially, and the total sum of one hundred and 17 thousand pounds was paid in 1989.

It has been claimed in the statement that Imran has done no money laundering, as he earned $75,000 from Kerry Packer series, and $50,000 from New South Wales, Australia.
